Since being placed into service in May 2002, Gulfstream has been working with potential customers to extend its pipeline from central to southern Florida. This phase of construction, a portion of which was approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in February 2001 (Docket No. CP00-6-010), will extend the pipeline approximately 35 miles south from Martin to Palm Beach County (8.8 miles in Martin County and approximately 26.2 miles in Palm Beach County).

Approximately 90% of the 35-mile extension will parallel an existing utility corridor, thereby minimizing environmental impacts.

The entire 35-mile pipeline extension is scheduled to be placed into service in August 2008. If you have any questions about construction, call us at (888) GAS-4-FLA.
